It *seems* as if the Steam version, which ID's itself as "2.0" on the initial game settings screen is And I've been alternating between the two to try to see. Waltc: Honestly, I can't tell if it's patched to 2.0 or not. I get that the "in thing" right now is to bash Reailty Pump and TopWare for all their worth because of the microtransactions debacle, but if you're going to spread shit, at least stick to the truth, yeah? There was never any talk about enhanced textures or existing users getting Call of the Tenebrae for free.

What the initial announcement did say was that the entire game would get the engine update, and existing owners of the base game/Pirates of the Flying Fortress would get that engine update. Funny, because I saw those initial developer announcements, and there was never any talk about the expansion being free to existing users. I immediately saw a noticeable improvement in the rendering engine for TWII-but of course with such a small upgrade for the engine, there were no new textures included for the TWII game itself, etc.

The so-called "HD Update" that I downloaded from Steam (I own both Steam and GOG versions ot TWII Velvet Edition) was, according to Steam, a whopping 7.5 MBs (yes Megabytes, not Gigabytes) in size. Now I am given to understand that CoT is a stand-alone addition which does not upgrade the TWII original game in any fashion whatever.

And originally, the CoT update was to contain the HD Update as an upgrade to the entire TWII game. Supposedly, from the initial developer info, anyone who already owned the game would get the CoT DLC free of charge. What they delivered versus what they initially promised is much different.
